About Greg…
My hospitality career started by chance in 2002 while on a working holiday in London, I gained a job as a Doorman at the then Le Meridien Waldorf to earn extra funds for traveling, within a few weeks in the job I realised the hospitality industry was for me and that was the end of my holiday. After a year at the Waldorf I moved to the Landmark London as a Porter and within a year I was promoted to Head Porter. In 2006 I decided to move back to Australia and commenced work at the Sydney Harbour Marriott as a Bell Captain, in 2008 I transferred to full time Concierge.
Since the first day of being a Concierge I have always had ambition to join Les Clefs d’Or and was accepted into the society in November 2015. It is an honour to be a member of such a professional and friendly society.
The satisfaction gained when a guest comes back with genuine thanks for recommendations is one of my biggest motivations.
Sydney is an amazing destination and it is an absolute privilege to be able to show our guests the best the city has to offer.
