The voco™ hotel Brisbane City Centre & Hotel Indigo® Brisbane City Centre are due to open Q1/Q2 2022 respectively. voco™ hotel Brisbane City Centre will offer 194 guest rooms, 11 meetings rooms, 2 F&B outlets, fitness suite & pool and the arrival of Hotel Indigo ® Brisbane City Centre will offer 212-rooms, feature restaurant & Bar, café, and fitness suite.

What You'll Do
As a Guest Experience Host - Porter you will help shape the successful opening of Brisbane's first voco and Hotel Indigo in creating an exciting, innovative, and memorable hotel experience for all guests working with a well-rounded and highly motivated Front Office team.
Ideally, you will have previous Porter / Doorperson or hands-on customer service experience within a Hospitality environment
Experience with, or knowledge of hotel PMS such as Opera
You will assist with welcoming & fare welling guests
Manage the collection and delivery of luggage & other items
Provide information on local activities, events etc.
Assist other departments as required
Professional and personable, with a "role up the sleeves", can do attitude
You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
Excellent verbal and written communication & phone skills

You have a passion for all things hospitality and love making genuine human connections
You have a high energy level and a passion for achieving superior results
You are detail oriented and able to effectively multitask with great communication skills
You thrive under pressure and are flexible when adapting to new situations
You take pride in personal presentation
Ideally you possess a valid QLD drivers' license
RSA or ability to obtain (desirable)
You have a passion to develop your hospitality career
You meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia.
