InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto is currently looking for a Full Time Concierge to join our team.
As a Concierge you'll be responsible for welcoming and caring for our guests.  You will need to ensure that each of our guests are provided with an authentic Melbourne experience and that their stay is pleasant and memorable.  Your primary duties will be to ensure that you provide the highest level of personal service to our guests and to lead the concierge team. 

Our concierges are required to be Melbourne experts in order to be able to provide tailored recommendations for restaurants, theatre, sporting events, shopping, attractions and for the city in general.  You will also need to be an expert on all the services the hotel has to offer.

The Concierge is responsible for ensuring that the concierge team is trained and prepared to provide the highest levels of personalized service.  You will be required to demonstrate a superior level of organizational skills and be able to gracefully handle multiple tasks under pressure.  You will also need to provide your team with support and assistance in completing their daily tasks as well as to support the Chief Concierge with running the department.  You will need to be able to carry guest luggage and to safely operate guest vehicles.

The position does require flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.  Previous 5 star hotel concierge experience and membership in Les Clefs d’Or is preferred. 

Applicants must have a valid work visa for Australia and a valid unrestricted driver’s license.
