About Scott…

I decided to travel abroad in March 1998 to see the world and this is where my career in hospitality began. My first position was at The Pelham Hotel London in March 1999 as a porter. This is where the concept of watch, listen and learn was instilled in me. I could not think of a better place to learn the art of customer service, and to this day I am still strengthening these skills.

In May 2004 it was time to come home and I accepted the position of Assistant Concierge at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle. It was here where I assisted the Head Concierge to further develop and train a professional team. The Head Concierge position became available in February 2005 which I took on and after six great years.

 I then moved to the Parmelia Hilton Perth in August 2010 where Simon Burrows, a past member handed over the reins to a well oiled machine.

In Nov 2013 I was accepted into the Les Clefs d’Or along with Josh Blake who was working at the Hyatt at the time. Since then I have continued to work alongside Andre Burford to promote the society and encourage others in the development of their careers.
